ARTICLE 27
Entry into Force
(1) The present Agreement shall be ratified in each Contracting State and instruments of ratification shall be exchanged as soon as possible.
(2) This Agreement shall enter into force upon the exchange of instruments of ratification and its provisions shall have effect:
- (A) in respect of taxes withheld at source, on income derived from or after January 1 of the calendar year following the entry into force of the Agreement, and
- (B) in respect of other taxes on income, for taxable years beginning on or after January 1 of the calendar year following the entry into force of the Agreement.
