Portugal applies a force attraction principle. Hence, not only income and gains derived by or through a Portuguese permanent establishment, but also the Portuguese source income arising from the sale of goods or activities carried out which are identical or similar to the sale of goods or activities carried on by or through that permanent establishment are imputed to such permanent establishment for taxation purposes.
