12.1. VAT on the Supply of Goods by Non-Residents

Non-resident entities making taxable supplies of goods are subject to VAT. Non-resident entities must appoint a fiscal representative in Guinea who is liable for the declaration and the payment of VAT on behalf of the non-resident entity. If no fiscal representative is appointed, a reverse charge mechanism is applicable and consequently the local customer must account for the VAT on the received supply.
