The establishment of a company in Finland is quite straightforward and only involves a few steps:
- Paid in capital must be paid in full and deposited in a Finnish bank account
- A start-up notification form is submitted to the business information system, which covers most registration issues, including with the National Board of Patents and Registration and the Tax Administration with a single form - the form must be filled in Finnish or Swedish, and is sent in writing to the address indicated on the form
- Any employees must be registered with the Employer Register, and subscribed for pension insurance, accident insurance, and medical insurance
The process for registration typically takes 15 days, if all documentation is in order.
