According to recent reports, Switzerland has concluded negotiations with the initialing of income tax treaties with Ethiopia and Zimbabwe. The treaties will be the first of their kind between Switzerland and the respective countries and must be signed and ratified before entering into force.
Switzerland has also concluded negotiations with the initialing of amending protocols to the 2006 tax treaty with Armenia, the 1997 tax treaty with Canada, the 2003 tax treaty with Israel, the 2000 tax treaty with North Macedonia, the 1995 tax treaty with Russia, and the 2007 tax treaty with South Africa. The amending protocols must also be signed and ratified before entering into force.
