Sri Lanka's Inland Revenue Department issued a notice on 29 September 2021 concerning the final income tax payment for the year of assessment 2020/2021, which is due on 30 September 2021. The notice includes that payments can be made through the Online Tax Payment Platform (OTPP) or to any branch of the Bank of Ceylon. It is also noted that the penalties imposed for failing to make payments on or before the due date would not be waived off or reduced.
