According to a release from Moldova's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, officials from Latvia and Moldova met on 5 January 2023 to discuss bilateral cooperation, including the need to finalize and sign a social security agreement. The agreement will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
