The 1992 Commonwealth of Independent States Pension Agreement has been terminated for Russia and Ukraine in relation to the other signatories to the agreement. The multilateral agreement is between Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan. The termination of the agreement is effective for Russia on 1 January 2023 and for Ukraine on 19 June 2023, considering the date of deposit of the notifications of termination by the respective countries. The agreement is to be replaced with bilateral agreements between the respective countries.
