The Bolivian parliament is considering a draft law that extends tax payment installment facilities for taxpayers that previously failed to fulfill their payment obligations under installment agreements. Similar to the extension provided in 2021, taxpayers with unfulfilled payment installments for tax debts and fines from October 2019 would be able to obtain a new agreement with the same conditions and benefits provided under their original installment agreement as long as payments are resumed within one month from the date the law, as approved, is published. This would be available even if collection actions are already being enforced.
