Armenia's National Assembly (parliament) reportedly approved on 6 March 2020 the law for the ratification of the pending income tax treaty with Kyrgyzstan. The treaty, signed 9 August 2019, is the first of its kind between the two countries and provides for the following withholding tax rates:

• Dividends - 10%
• Interest - 10%
• Royalties - 10%

The treaty will enter into force once the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply from 1 January of the year following its entry into force. Further details of the treaty will be published once available.
