The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) issued a follow-up email notification on 10 September concerning updates on Country-by-Country (CbC) reporting lodgments issued in July. The notification also notes an outage for system maintenance from 11 to 13 September, which requires any lodgments attempted during the outage period to be re-lodged.
As per our email dated 7 July 2020:
- We are continuing to work to resolve the issues identified with the lodgment confirmation emails as a matter of priority, including testing a fix, so that we can switch the functionality back on as soon as possible.
- We will keep you updated regarding the date we can expect the lodgment confirmation emails to issue.
- We confirm that we have received all lodgments to date and we do not require you to take any further action.
We apologise for the continued delay and we appreciate your patience during this time.
Please be advised that CBC (Country-by-Country) & LCMSF (Local/Master File) reporting via SBR2 PROD2 Cloud services will be unavailable for scheduled maintenance during the following times:
Start: 8:00pm AEST on Friday 11 September 2020
End: 5:00pm AEST on Sunday 13 September 2020
Any attempted lodgments made using these specific services during this period will receive an error message "SBR.GEN.FAULT.SOFTWARENOTREGISTERED" and will need to be lodged after the outage period.
