Orbitax issues enhanced version of acclaimed international tax software

Orbitax Software announced a significantly enhanced version of its acclaimed International Tax Expert software. The product will now increase the number of countries covered from the current 75 to 120. The new countries supported will be Algeria, Bahrain, Belarus, Bolivia, British Virgin Islands, Cameroon, Croatia, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Estonia, Gabon, Gibraltar, Guetemala, Iran, Isle of Man, Ivory Coast, Jamaica, Jersey, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kuwait, Latvia, Lebanon, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Malawi, Mali, Monaco, Morocco, Nicargua, Oman, Pakistan, Paraguay, Qatar, Senegal, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Sri Lanka, Togo, Trinidad & Tobago, Tunisia, Ukraine, Uruguay and Vietnam.

The functionality of the online edition of ITE, available on the Checkpoint and IBFD tax research platforms, will also be increased. This will include the ability to export the calculation details from the calculator tab to Microsoft Excel with the calculation formulas embedded, enabling users to change withholding tax rates used by ITE and have the change automatically reflected in the total tax cost from the cross border payment transaction. In keeping with Orbitax strategy of enabling full integration with common business software on the desktop, Microsoft Word and Excel, the online edition will also have the ability to export all tax rate tables to Excel.
