Thomson Tax & Accounting, a business segment of The Thomson Corporation (NYSE: TOC; TSX: TOC), has formed an exclusive partnership with Orbitax to offer a comprehensive solution called International Tax Expert powered by Orbitax for processing complex international tax issues.

This business relationship will focus on bringing a range of international tax planning and analysis tools, developed by Orbitax, to users. An easy to use online edition, ITE Online is available on Checkpoint, which displays various cross-border income tax rates, calculates payments made between multiple foreign entities, and uses content from the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD) for authoritative expertise on cross-border taxation. A more advanced desktop edition, ITE Enterprise, combines the content features of the online edition, with a highly sophisticated modeling and optimization engine, alongside a host of other features.
